My Story

Vision: To create a global health brand uniting the world through wellness.

Mission:  To bring together those people, ideas and organizations to create products, systems and tools with Wellness in Mind.

My name is Julia El-Haj. As the first generation daughter of an Olympic contender who also is a biochemist, and a competitive body builder turned nutrition advocate, health and fitness has alway been an intricate part of my life.

At the age of 13 I was dubbed a blue chip athlete by international coaches and I set my sights to follow in my father’s footsteps and attend the Olympic Games to represent the US of A as a first generation American.

A shoulder injury and doctors who told me I would never play again brought my dreams to a screeching halt.  They say an athlete dies twice.

So what to do next?

As a mother of 3 children one of my biggest concerns is that they achieve happiness in their life or at least know how to.  I believe that the highest calling of a human being is not just a wonderful career or even a happy family.  Nor is it to have lots of money or a luxurious home.  Instead, it is the development of the human potential that I will call what experts term as mental or spiritual development.

That’s when I had my Aha! moment.

Nothing has prepared me more for this task than the skills I learned training and perfecting myself as an athlete in hopes I would be able to compete in the Olympics.

This blog is dedicated to that knowledge and to my family. It’s a work of art; composed of Doctor’s, artists, authors and experts and everyday advocates expressing themselves about the same subject hoping to form some common ground.

After all sharing is caring.

I started Hermetica Health as a pathway to healing.

Let’s look forward to the day when our knowledge of man – both our physical body and the invisible spirit which inhabits it – will be advanced by cooperative effort of both Eastern and Western scientists and physicians. By this partnership of effort, it is possible that preventative medicine will help us all to preserve health rather than to struggle desperately against inroads of disease.

Live and Learn. We All Do.
